Hurt Benjamin Sesko to Sit Out Slovenian National Team Games but United Optimistic of Quick Return

Forward Sesko will miss out on the Slovenian national team's upcoming fixtures against Sweden and Kosovo due to a knee problem suffered during the latest match at Tottenham. However, Manchester United remains hopeful that he could return in time to play against Everton after the international break.

Injury Details and Timeline

The forward was substituted in the 87th minute of Saturday's 2-2 stalemate with Spurs after being introduced in the 58th minute for teammate Mazraoui. Manager the team's manager expressed concern post-match, leading to Sesko's pull-out from the Slovenia national team.

Manchester United will conduct additional examinations at their Carrington facility in the coming days, but initial assessments point to a potential recovery in time for the Everton scheduled for 24 November.

Other Squad Updates

Maguire and Casemiro also had to leave the field during the Spurs match. Although Maguire's status is yet to be determined, it is understood that Casemiro is available and has joined international duty for Brazil.

Martínez, who has been sidelined since suffering a knee issue in February, will travel to Argentina at their European training camp. But, the defender will not feature in Friday's friendly against Angola at Luanda. A member of the club's performance team will support the player, who recently returned to training with Amorim's squad.
